Aptly named "V6 Revenge", Bill's 97 Firebird was one of the first 3.8 F-Bodies to break into the 13's. One of the fastest 3.8s to ever hit the pavement, there is nothing "typical" about Bill's beast. Performance modifications include a NOS 90HP nitrous kit #5175, MSD 8.5mm wires, NGK TR6 spark plugs, MSD DIS-4 ignition, 160° thermostat, SLP cold air induction system, removed MAF throttle body screen, Random Technology 3" highflow cat, Edelbrock 3" in/dual out catback exhaust, 9.5" Vigilante 2800 stall converter, TransGo shift kit, Perma-Cool transmission cooler, ES Polyurethane transmission mount, 1LE aluminum driveshaft, G2 driveshaft safety loop, Hotchkis strut tower brace, lower trailing arms, panhard rod, and subframe connectors. The wheels are dressed in Firestone Firehawk 245/50ZR16 front and Nitto 245/50R16 drag radial rear rubber. From the factory it came with chrome Trans Am wheels, Y87 performance package, and W68 appearance package. In addition to the performance upgrades, Bill has added a few items to give it a unique touch of class: Trans Am tail lights, chrome radiator shroud, chrome door sills, chrome fuse box cover, chrome battery cover, chrome power steering fluid cap, chrome brake fluid cap, chrome radiator reservoir cap, and chrome pedals. |
